SUMMARY

We are looking for a responsible Administrative Assistant to perform a variety of administrative and clerical tasks.  The duties of the administrative assistant include providing support to our managers, employees, suppliers, and customers; data entry and light accounting; and managing our company’s general administrative activities.


RESPONSIBILITIES
• Answer phone calls, emails, and other written communications promptly
• Greet and provide front desk assistance to customers
• Organize and schedule appointments
• Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms
• Maintain a filing system
• Order, monitor, distribute, and restock office supplies
• Maintain contact lists
• Keep records of meeting notes, agendas, and other vital documents
• Provide general support to managers, employees, suppliers, and customers
• Complete data entry, accounts payable, and light accounting duties using QuickBooks
• Create and maintain customer records, including contact, delivery, and payment information
• Answer questions from suppliers and customers about their bills and invoices
• Invoice customers
• Work with CPA and QuickBooks Certified ProAdvisor consultant as requested
• Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED
• Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
• Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Proficiency in QuickBooks
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work
• Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Flexible and adaptable to change
• Sales and marketing experience will be a plus
• High School degree; additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus

Warehouse Scale Attendant

OVERVIEW

Attends scale, picks parts for outside processes, records transactions in the computer, and keeps accurate and up-to-date retrieval records of raw and in-process material moving in and out of north warehouse.

Assists Planners with daily duties by pulling prints and attaching to Work Orders, distributing weekly and daily reports, and acting as a backup Planner if needed.

Organization and reliability are important traits for this position. Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift and have a safe driving record. This position requires familiarity with bills of Lading and Receiving. The Warehouse Scale Attendant must also have a working knowledge of SAP or be able to learn.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Route and record all incoming and outgoing material through the warehouse system
  • Maintain inventory system records
  • Get parts from Warehouse on stand-up forklift
  • Issue components to work orders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures
  • Must have willingness to help out in other areas and perform any other duties as required or directed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist with inspecting fixtures and parts as they arrive

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform repetitive duties welding components on shafts to various sized chain linkages.  Work from shop orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.  Use simple hand tools.
  • Set heat temperatures on welders.  Hand crank material into location.  Position attachment or flight and activate welder; inspect weld and make minor adjustments as necessary.
  • Inspect welds for proper location and making minor adjustments to position of welder gun.
  • Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer questionable cases to supervisor.  Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper manner.
  • Place finished chain on pallet.  When flight welding, must be able to lift chain from pallet to weld bench and back to pallet when completed.
  • Responsible for quality:  Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality control procedures.
  • Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety practices/procedures.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Overview

  • Performs diversified operations on numerical control machining centers

OVERVIEW

Performs manual labor along a production line making large chain.  Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery.  Maintains required documents and records work orders, production reports, and proper parts labeling (route cards).
