The designer is responsible for completion of piping design and drafting duties.  The end result of the activities is a completed engineering drawing that can be put out for bid and subsequent construction.  Documents produced include engineering flow diagrams, civil drawings, Piping plans, piping isometrics, electrical drawings, and as-built drawings.

 

Education requirements:  Associates degree in Drafting/Design Technologies or equivalent.

 

Ideal candidate will possess:

+ Excellent MicroStation CADD operating skills

+ Surveying and field verification technique knowledge.

+ Understanding of mechanical and civil design practices and regulations.

+ In depth knowledge of design codes, standards and regulations (i.e., OSHA, ADA, ASME, etc.)
