Local company looking for individuals to work in a warehouse setting with the flexibility to move between jobs as needed.  

RESPONSIBILITIES/QUALIFICATIONS

  • This could include assembly, picking and packing orders, drilling, baling or use of hot glue guns.
  • Must be able to lift 40-50lbs often throughout the day.
  • Must be able to stand a full 4-8 hr. shift
  • Bending, stooping, twisting and turning on a regular basis.

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

  • Monday through Friday 7:30am to 3:30pm

OVERVIEW

Performs manual labor along a production line making large chain.  Operates and troubleshoots production line machinery.  Maintains required documents and records work orders, production reports, and proper parts labeling (route cards). 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain efficiency by identifying problems and seek action to resolve issues.
  • Performs all quality-related responsibilities that will ensure that the product meets customer needs.  This includes blueprint reading, first piece inspection, using measuring instruments, and any other quality-related process.  Maintain ISO 9001 standards at all times.
  • Ensure that all necessary information is communicated within the cell, as well as to the following:  Planners, Tech TEAM, Group Leaders, and Coach.  Help one another by being open, honest, and constructive when communicating.
  • Must be flexible in accepting assignments and make positive contributions. 
  • Abide by all safety procedures and let others know of possible safety hazards that they are not aware of.  Maintain clean work area.  Keep materials well organized.
  • Must maintain an excellent attendance record.  Be at assigned workstation at the start of each shift and upon return of designated breaks.
  • Perform minor machine maintenance as required.  Meet preventative maintenance responsibilities.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required

Bank Teller (Float Teller)

OVERVIEW

Seeking a full time teller to travel between Preston, Miles, and Delmar branches.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers.
  • Interact with customers in a professional manner.
  • Process cash deposits and withdrawals, check writing, and check reconciliation.
  • Process cash payments over the counter.
  • Process customer deposit transfers.
  • Process customer account statements as requested.
  • Assist with account reconciliation as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of transactions using an electronic register or other systems.

Warehouse Scale Attendant

OVERVIEW

Attends scale, picks parts for outside processes, records transactions in the computer, and keeps accurate and up-to-date retrieval records of raw and in-process material moving in and out of north warehouse.

Assists Planners with daily duties by pulling prints and attaching to Work Orders, distributing weekly and daily reports, and acting as a backup Planner if needed.

Organization and reliability are important traits for this position. Must be able to operate a stand-up forklift and have a safe driving record. This position requires familiarity with bills of Lading and Receiving. The Warehouse Scale Attendant must also have a working knowledge of SAP or be able to learn.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES

  • Route and record all incoming and outgoing material through the warehouse system
  • Maintain inventory system records
  • Get parts from Warehouse on stand-up forklift
  • Issue components to work orders
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is preferred, especially Excel and Outlook
  • Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety procedures
  • Must have willingness to help out in other areas and perform any other duties as required or directed.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

 ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform repetitive duties welding components.  Work from shop orders, verbal instructions, and blueprints.  Use simple hand tools.
• Set heat temperatures on welders.  Hand crank material into location.  Position attachment or flight and activate welder; inspect weld and make minor adjustments as necessary.
• Inspect welds for proper location and making minor adjustments to position of welder gun.
• Detect faulty operation of equipment or defective material and refer questionable cases to supervisor.  Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in proper manner.
• Responsible for quality:  Accept training in blueprint reading, use of gauges and measuring tools common to manufacturing, along with related statistical process control principles and other quality control procedures.
• Must be knowledgeable in and practice all safety practices/procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Dry Plant Packer

OVERVIEW:

  • Temp Associates has a 90 day temp to hire Drying Plant Packager position available in Clinton, IA with Sethness Roquette.

BASIC FUNCTION:

  • Packaging and inspection of all powder products according to SPC specifications.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operation of the packager, scale, and hopper vibrator.
  • Fork truck operation and propane tank removal and installation.
  • Package fabrication and understanding box schedule and instructions including:
  1. Stenciling
  2. Label placement
  3. Taping
  4. Inserting bags
  5. Follow any special instructions
  6. Location of materials (tape, stencils, etc.)
  • Repair pallets.
  • Assist in loading and unloading vans.
  • Access to all four levels of the plant is required to assist in assembling and disassembling equipment, including the atomizer.
  • Recycle cardboard.
  • Qualify as a drying plant operator, liquid production operator and filter operator.
  • Via visual inspection insure that the weight and packaging of the powder meet all SPC specs.
  • Rotate stock.
  • Maintain a safe and sanitary work area.
  • Other duties as assigned.

FOOD SAFETY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • Operate according to accepted Good Manufacturing Practices to insure the integrity of the finished product. Monitor HACCP conditions for metal detection.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES WITH PERCENTAGE OF TIME:

  • 60% Packaging
  • 40% Other related duties


SUPERVISION EXERCISED:

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education:

  • High School graduate, good understanding of math and sciences with computer operating skills

Experience:

  • Industrial Manufacturing

Knowledge:

  • Safety practices in handling chemicals and working with high pressure equipment

Physical:

  • Able to frequently lift up to 50 lbs., reaching, walking, standing, twisting, and stair climbing.


WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Normally air-conditioned atmosphere with some exposure to high heat and humidity during cleaning operations. Exposure to caramel aromatics.

SHIFT:

  • Rotating 8 hr. shifts, Sundays, and rotating 12 hr. shifts (scheduled 7 days/week operation)


WAGE:

  • Starting at $18.50 ($22.10 after 90 days, $23.10 after 6 months, and $0.75 increases annually for years 1-4)

Full-Time Bank Teller

OVERVIEW

The Teller is responsible for providing a broad range of Bank services requiring constant contact with customers. Maintaining a high level of knowledge of current Bank services along with staying abreast on new offerings is mandatory to meeting the needs of the customers. The Teller will perform a variety of duties related to all phases of teller work, including recording all transactions accurately and balancing each day’s operations.     

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receives and handles deposits of all types, verifying amounts, ensuring proper endorsement on negotiable instruments, and examining cash carefully to guard against acceptance of counterfeit bills
  • Cashes Checks for customers adhering at all times to policy and procedures of bank
  • Issues money orders, and stored value cards
  • Balances drawer at close of business and at other assigned times to determine all were properly executed
  • Receives payments on loans, credit cards, and other accounts
  • Counts, proves and packages currency and coin
  • Maintains neat and orderly work area and ensures that all negotiable and confidential records are properly secured 
  • Demonstrates continuously a helpful, friendly attitude
  • Maintains proper amounts of currency and coin
  • Sells and/or refers Bank’s products and services to customers and prospects
  • Observes suspicious behavior and reports any such activity to head teller as appropriate. In the event of a robbery, remains calm and follows bank procedures to safeguard customers and staff
  • Perform simple customer service functions such as assisting customers in opening accounts, assessing safe deposit boxes, and explaining ATM operations, as applicable
  • Process ATM Deposits, bank mail, and night drop

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma or equivalent

·         8-5:30 M-F and 8-12 on Saturday, hours can vary, when working Saturday will get an afternoon off.
