CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE       

 

This is considered a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity.  Dynamic and fun opportunity to work with internal and external customers processing orders in a fast-paced office environment.  Job offers the opportunity to interact with a wide variety of people to support and generate revenue for the organization by ensuring orders are processed in a timely and concise manner.
 


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Review/enter new orders from a Web EDI Program
  • Resolve customer concerns/questions.
  • Handle large/key accounts or specific geographic area
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding price, delivery, and order status
  • Coordinate with company departments to improve deliveries and confirm shipments
  • Track customer status, orders, and potential delivery dates in organizational database
  • Handle high volume daily transactions
  • Follow-up with customer quotations and bill of material entry


SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to plan, schedule and prioritize job duties
  • Ability to work in a team environment with minimal supervision
  • Written, spoken, and listening communication skills
  • Ability to problem solve

 

EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma/Equivalent

 

PAY

  • $15.00, DOQ

 

WORK HOURS/SHIFT:

  • Monday – Friday 7am – 3:30 pm

 

SCREENING/TESTING

  • Pre-employment background screening & drug testing
  • Clerical proficiency testing
