• Plans machining by studying work order, blueprint, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters
• Working on a variety of machines and in various areas
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces

• 2^nd Shift is Monday – Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am

WAGE

• $16/hr starting wage

Seasonal Temporary Office Administration Assistant

OVERVIEW

A local company is seeking an Office Adminstration Assistant to join their team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greeting visitors, answering/directing phone calls, and managing emails
• Strong knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and office management software.
• Tracking daily reports and customer data into the database
• Coping customer information accordingly
• Scheduling appointments, managing calendars
• Other duties as assigned from supervisor based on experience and knowledge.
• Knowleadge of Quickbooks is a PLUS

MACHINE OPERATOR/ PRODUCTION

This job opportunity is with a manufacturing facility in Ottumwa, IA and surrounding areas.  In this position you will operate machines, grinders, trimmer machines, conveyor systems, and pallet jacks.  This is considered manufacturing work, with work duties rotating so there is always something different to do.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate machines to ensure production of quality products and perform routine audits, weights, and quality checks.
• Adhere to quality control and to blow mold process procedure
• Make adjustments accordingly to meet product specifications
• Grind/trim excess materials from products

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Dependable and reliable
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to stand for 8 to 12hours
• Strong hand/eye coordination

This is for a temporary to direct hire long-term assignment at a premier manufacturing facilities in Cantril and Keosauqua, Iowa area.  You will be responsible for the welding, assembly manufacturing process.

• DAY: Monday – Friday – 6:45am – 4pm (with the potential earning rate/production incentive)
• DAY: Monday – Thursday - 6am – 3pm and Friday – 6am – 10am
• Night: Monday – Thursday - 3pm to 1:30am

WAGE

• $17+ per hour starting wage – it depends on your Welding Experience
• Robotic Welding – Would be much higher – it depends on your Welding Experience

OVERVIEW

This is a Temp-to-Hire job opportunity in Sigourney, Iowa.  In this position you will be responsible for making sand cores/castings for other foundries.  The facility is not a foundry and has no molten metal operations of any kind. Steel toed safety boots/shoes are required for this facility.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Must have good attendance
• Take direction from Team Lead/Supervisor
• Manual work making Cores
• Assist in staging cores per customer spec sheet
• Ability to operate, work, program the machine
• Keep area around sand conveying equipment clean and remove sand as needed
• Perform routine preventative maintenance, safety measures
• Perform all operations in a safe and timely manner
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment
• Previous Foundry, Manufacturing experience is a PLUS
• Forklift experience is PLUS

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

• Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50lbs
• Often required to be exposed to extreme heat
• Must be comfortable working around moving parts
• Must be comfortable working around loud noise
• Occasionally required to work extended hours
• Cooperate and work well with others
• Attention to details, follow instructions, multi-tasking

WORK HOURS/WAGE

• 6:30am – 3pm, (Monday thru Friday)- $17/hr.
• Potential Production Bonus: Weekly Production/Rate Bonus: if you make the production rate on your machine every hour then you will get a bonus.
