MACHINE OPERATOR

OVERVIEW

Temp-to-Hire job opportunity at an industrial facility in Keosauqua.  Always something new with this production job!  Great opportunity to find work close to home.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plans machining by studying work order, blueprint, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters
• Working on a variety of machines and in various areas
• Verifies settings by measuring positions, first-run part, and sample work pieces

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities
• Dependable and Reliable 
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving abilities
• Mechanical and technical aptitude
• Ability to stand for 10 hrs
• Strong hand/eye coordination
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Good attendance

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous experience in a machine shop or as a Machine Operator a plus!

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

• 1^st Shift is Monday – Thursday 6:00am – 3:00pm & Friday 6:00am-10:00am
• 2^nd Shift is Monday – Thursday 3:00pm – 1:30am

WAGE

• $16/hr starting wage

SCREENING/TESTING REQUIREMENTS

• Pre-employment background screening
• Pre-employment drug testing
