Primary Responsibilities:

"             Manages, plans, budgets, and provides leadership/direction to Maintenance, maintains department budgets with a high degree of accuracy to attain profit plan.

"             Works closely with Manufacturing and Finishing Managers to ensure complete manufacturing support for maximum uptime, throughput, and profit.

"             Assists in design and engineering of all current plant equipment and process improvement projects.  Interfaces and works closely with Engineering for all new equipment/process implementation.

"             Implements and maintains a structured Preventative and Predictive Maintenance program for each production process, facility systems, and all manufacturing equipment.

"             Responsible for Plant Safety; equipment and facilities compliance with OSHA regulations. 

"             Plans, budgets, and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions. 

"             Inspect construction and installation progress of capital equipment to ensure conformance to establish specifications.

"             Oversees the coordination of building space allocations, layout, and communication services.

"             Oversees and directs maintenance personnel and workers. 

"             Ensures effective security services are maintained.

"             Performs other related duties as assigned.

"             Be able to read, understand, and follow the current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.

"             Able to travel to other divisions when required.

"             Availability to go to the office Monday to Friday.

"             Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor/Manager.

Educational/Training Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent (GED).

Trade school or bachelor's degree (BA) Preferred or 5 plus years of Maintenance experience

 

Experience Requirements:

8 to 10 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
