SPECIFIC JOB DUTIES
Job duties will include but not limited to:

  • Operating a variety of machines such as: punch press, hydraulic press, brake press drill press, rollform, powder coat paint line and welding
  • Moving and maneuvering carts and coils of  steel
  • Performing quality checks on steel for proper length using various gages and calibers
  • Performing visual inspection of completed parts for quality and production defects
  • Must be able to complete accurate daily production  paperwork
  • Other duties as assigned

Systems Administrator

Job Purpose

Primary responsibility is to support MPW’s HelpDesk advanced Internet and video customer issues, including setup and configuration of all Commercial edge equipment, and administration and maintenance of infrastructure resources. Assist System Administrator II and Sr. Network Engineer as necessary. Responsible for the integrity of the network and overall network security.

Specific Responsibilities
1. Handle escalated calls from Help Desk, providing support as needed pertaining to resolving customer issues pertaining to Internet, IPTV, voice service (VoIP), email, DNS, DHCP and other related issues.
2. Primary support for Residential and Business Class services
a. Perform routine maintenance on the Internet, IPTV, voice services (VoIP), LTE, and MachLink email distribution systems.
b. In conjunction with the NOC Technician, maintain NOC equipment, networks, and systems.
c. Assist with the installation and configuration of new or upgraded systems for Business Class accounts based on the specifications provided and services requested.
d. Upgrade system firmware and/or equipment as needed
e. Monitor deployed equipment and systems.
3. Assist with support for Enterprise level services
   a. Assist with maintenance on the Internet, voice services (VoIP), Metro Ethernet, and distribution systems.
   b. In conjunction with the NOC Technician, maintain NOC equipment, networks, and systems.
   c. Assist with the installation and configuration of new or upgraded systems for enterprise accounts based on the specifications provided and services requested.
   d. Upgrade system firmware and/or equipment as directed
   e. Monitor deployed equipment and systems.
4. Assist with performing infrastructure administration, including:
   a. Ensure appropriate maintenance is completed on systems, including management, troubleshooting, event alarm monitoring, etc.
   b. Assist with installation of new network and system technologies.
   c. Monitor and maintain baseline operational levels for all network and server systems.
5. Assist in the support of Communications security programs.
   a. Maintain network security assets such as mail filter and IDS/IPS devices.
   b. Provide assistance in vulnerability assessments.
   c. Identify potential improvements in the security environment such as user awareness and training.

Other Responsibilities

  • Act as backup for the Systems Administrator II as needed.
  • Assist with corporate telephone services as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Knowledge
1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, networking, or engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Preferred experience would include:
   a. Minimum 2 years of networking experience. Current industry certifications preferred.
   b. Previous experience with server software and hardware; troubleshooting and repair experience preferred.
   c. Working knowledge of wireless/point-to-point and point-to-multi-point technologies.
2. Experience with LAN/WAN technologies including switching and routing, fiber optic networks and Metro Ethernet solutions.
3. Experience with GPON standards.
4. Experience in working with server operating platforms such as Unix, Linux, Microsoft, VMware, and Mac OS.

Deposit Services Representative

Summary:

Performs a wide variety of duties, including assisting the Deposit Services Manager in daily operations.

Duties & Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Handle phone calls for customer inquiries.
  • Online and mobile banking services, including mobile deposit, enrollments, & support.
  • Process non-sufficient funds notices and entries for return items.
  • Print various notices, statements, and reports.
  • Process ACH, check exceptions and unposted items
  • Daily reconcilement of official checks and other internal demand deposit accounts.

Qualification Requirements:

  • Excellent organizational skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and understand simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the bank.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to balance a checkbook.

Hours/Pay:

Full time, Monday to Friday from 8a-5p. Once trained the Deposit Services Representative would be included in a Saturday rotation, working until noon – once every 3-4 weeks. Pay depends on experience

SUMMARY

Temp Associates is now hiring for a Distribution Center Operations Supervisor in our Muscatine location! The Distribution Center Operations Supervisor is responsible for the activities for shipping, receiving, and space utilization for the warehouse operations. This includes identifying and implementing continuous process improvements to improve the overall efficiency, safety, and performance of the warehouse operations. HIRING IMMEDIATELY

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND REPONSIBILITIES include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as needed.

  • Ensure safe practices, procedures and rules are followed by all employees.
  • Ensure labor is allocated properly to support the daily loading and unloading demands and customer requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with customer service personnel to determine warehouse workload requirements and assigns labor to meet the schedule demands. This includes scheduling labor for Weekends, and Holiday staffing.
  • Manage special projects utilizing temporary labor and employees as needed. This includes capturing and reporting project costs.
  • Effectively communicate with Warehouse Management regarding tasks completed, not completed, and other issues effecting warehouse operations.
  • Fully understands and upholds established policies and procedures associated with the requirements for operating a food grade warehouses. Including oversight and documentation of Sanitation Schedule tasks.
  • Ability to make consistent decisions regarding the acceptance or rejection of trailers for damage or sanitation.
  • Facilitate the forklift safety training program of employees.
  • Oversee forklift preventative maintenance and document maintenance activities.
  • Develop strategies and actions to maximize space utilization.
  • Ensure each Forklift Driver receives necessary training to complete tasks, and that forklift drivers meets the expectations for that position.
  • Evaluate performance of all Forklift Operators and conduct performance reviews and carry out disciplinary communications and appropriate documentation to support performance, and attendance.
  • Assist Warehouse Manager in developing strategies and actions for the purpose of improving warehouse performance. This may include creating and maintaining reports to monitor progress.
  • Effectively delegate tasks and provide mentoring where applicable.
  • Support the Company goals, mission, and growth by representing the Company positively to potential employment candidates, customers, and community members.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILTIES

Provides daily supervision of Forklift Operators and Warehouse personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

Education, experience, and skills: A college degree is desired but not necessary. A minimum of two years of prior experience in a warehouse environment as a Supervisor is required for this position. This prior experience must also include driving a forklift, loading, and unloading freight, as well as inventory management. Must demonstrate good judgment and decision-making skills as well as effective communication skills with employees and customers. Must demonstrate an ability to supervise and motivate employees. Strong organizational skills will be necessary to establish and manage daily warehouse activities. Must possess the ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products, EMAIL platforms, and applicable Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

Physical, mental, and environmental requirements: Position requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, hearing, and talking on a regular basis. Some lifting up to 50 pounds and riding a forklift will be necessary when working in the warehouse. Must be able to solve problems and multiple tasks in a fast-paced changing work environment. The warehouse environment can be dusty, dry, and humid, with temperatures ranging between 40-90 degrees. Some odors might be present depending upon the product in storage. Food allergens may also be present in the warehouses.
