Machine Adjustors - Weekend Shift

OVERVIEW
To be successful at this job you must be able to perform each of the Job Responsibilities satisfactorily. This position requires you to work Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and every other Sunday. Beginning January 1, 2015 shift will change to rotating schedule that only requires you to work every other weekend.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Changes the machine from one style/size envelope to the other style/size with the least amount of downtime
• Sets the minimum and maximum speeds on all folding and attachment equipment maintaining optimum speed for each job
• Maintains the quality of the product being manufactured
• Seeks appropriate approval on every job that is manufactured on the equipment
• Gathers all of the necessary parts/attachments for the machine prior to the time of a machine change where it is practical to reduce downtime
• Keeps accurate records of repair work/changes
• Observes the machine to identify any visible signs of parts wearing out
• Observes all safety rules/regulations

• Ability to stand, stoop, bend, kneel, crawl, and crouch throughout a 12 hour shift

• Mechanical/Machine Maintenance is required

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

WAGE
• $14.00 per hour

Machine Operator - Weekend/Nights

OVERVIEW
This position offers you the opportunity to operate equipment to produce envelops according to customer guidelines and Standard Operating Procedures. This is a rotating shift position that does require you to work weekends.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operates large machinery to produce envelopes
• Reviews job tickets to ensure thorough awareness of the requirements of the job to be produced
• Assists with the set-up of equipment to include troubleshooting and/or machine adjustments as needed
• Inspects materials being processed such as sort, package, and/or ship per job ticket instructions
• Conducts thorough, documented quality checks and follows written quality assurance guidelines.
• Follows all established safety policies and procedures

This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity.  Forklift Operator position at a warehouse in Sigourney. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Loading good on to the forklift in a systematic procedure
• Follow proper handling procedure of the goods
• Responsible for conducting regular inspection of the forklift to ensure its safety and ability of performing operations
• Assisting in making pallets of goods and materials to put on trucks for transportation
