Quality Assurance Engineer

Utility/Material Handler

This job opportunity will be in an industrial machine shop producing machine parts using computer numerical control (CNC) machines.  This position requires the ability to maintain equipment and supplies as well as accurately inspect parts and reset calibrations when necessary.

Washington, IA location.  Manufacturing company that produces roof trusses, floor trusses, and engineered wood packages.  Duties include sorting and organizing cut material, building trusses, stacking finished products, picking, sawing, and catching lumber.   Lifting, squatting, standing for long periods of time, and manual dexterity are required.  Desired skills include experience in framing carpentry or manufacturing, experience with hand tools, the ability to read a tape measure and use a hammer, operating computer component saws, and the ability to read engineered drawings.  The preferred candidate will be highly motivated, have a good attendance history, and have a positive attitude.   Background check and drug screen required.  Pay based on experience.
