OVERVIEW
Fast paced job opportunity at Hearth & Home Technologies working in production constructing sub-assemblies, assemblies, and/or finished products.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Use small hand tools or light powered tools to construct assemblies and products
• Operate machinery such as roller, bear, spot welder, riveter, staker, lancers, crimpers, flat wash, and presses in the production process
• Use measuring tools to check requirements

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Ability to work efficiently with hand tools
• Average mechanical aptitude
• Ability to stand for 8-10 hours
• Physically fit with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient in basic math (addition/subtraction/multiplication/fractions/decimals)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Load baler, tie bales, and move bales with fork truck
• Must be able to read orders, pull paper rolls for each job with the roll clamp truck, and return unused rolls to proper storage area
• Bale boxes and move trash outside to the dumpster
• Inventory records for paper rolls, carton, and pallets must be accurately updated
• Load bale trucks, unload roll trucks, and other inbound freight.
• Required ability to drive fork truck, roll clamp truck, and hi-lift stand up truck, etc.
• Lifting requirements 70-75 lbs manually
• Load and unload trucks
• Must be able to learn and understand bills of lading
• Must be able to learn and understand UPS shipping procedures using computers
• Must be able to work independently

OVERVIEW
This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity located at an industrial facility in Mt Pleasant.   You will be working with Plastic Injection Molding Machines. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Monitor product being produced by Injection Molding presses to insure parts are being produced to meet our customer’s requirements
• Read and show good comprehension of Lomont’s Quality and Operator Procedures and requirements
• Visually inspect product per established inspection criteria and operator instructions found in the items (BOM) standard
• Perform any secondary work that may be required to finish the item/part(s) before packaging
• Package and count parts as defined in the packing instructions
• Communicate all quality issues or concerns to the Shift Supervisor and/or Team Leader as soon as a concern or question develops
• Good housekeeping – maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all company safety procedures

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Must be able to lift 35 pound boxes to chest height multiple times per hour
• Willingness to learn and apply what is learned to assigned tasks
• Able to read, write, and comprehend both written and verbal instructions.  This is extremely important when it comes to operator training and insuring high part quality and the safety of our workforce 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High School Diploma/GED preferred

3rd Shift Production Supervisor

OVERVIEW
This is a Full Time, Temp-To-Hire position to work as a Shift Supervisor for a local manufacturing company.  The shift supervisor will oversee the shift’s daily production activities and special projects throughout the shift to ensure smooth production operation during the shift. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assist with daily production operations to ensure accordance within plant policies and procedures. 
• Manage and lead the shift’s employees
• Foster company views and objectives amongst employees
• Ensure clean and safe work areas
• Complete shift production reports
o This includes entering employee numbers into each work center (labor hours) daily
o Edit down time intervals and enter reasons
• Assist in production as needed or necessary
• Assist with machine startups when necessary
• Responsible for maintaining machine/cell areas before and after startups
o This includes setup and organizing a work area to ensure the most efficient work area
o Make sure all materials, inserts, labels, packaging, etc. is removed from work area
• Ensure operators have access to all materials, inserts, labels, and packaging
• Help resolve maintenance issues on the floor when time permits
• Promote a safe work environment by enforcing all proper PPE requirements by all individuals working on the production floor

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
• Time is to be spent focusing on production activities and work areas.  This will include daily walk a bouts of the floor and constant interaction with production employees to ensure smooth operation
• Continuously look for ways to improve the process
• Help foster teamwork throughout the shift and from shift to shift

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Strong work ethic, highly driven, self motivated
• Strong computer skills
• Leadership skills

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• GED/HS Diploma

Long term/Temp to hire assignment working in a fast paced manufacturing environment.  The Added Value Specialist will be responsible for leading a small crew of operators in one or more aspects of the finishing assembly of rubber hoses. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Machine set up, verifying date codes, verifying components, comparing final product to client specifications, packaging hose according to specification, preparing samples for testing, communicating quality and/or safety issues, line-clearance and keeping hourly count of pieces produced per station. 
• Must be able to understand instructions whether they are written or verbal, and follow said instructions. 
• Must work with complete accuracy and efficiency. 
• Verification of client specifications on finished product.
• Set up machines according to spec requirements. 
• Prepare samples for testing.
