Part-Time Business Development Coordinator

Our client company is seeking a part-time Business Development Coordinator for their Energy Business Unit.  This position will be located in our Des Moines office with a flexible work schedule of 16-24 hours per week. 

The Business Development Coordinator will work directly with the Energy Business Development Leader to review and analyze client and sales information, assist with preparation of client account plans, prepare written summaries and power point presentations, coordinate external and internal resources, and manage associated administrative needs.   

Essential Duties:

  • Coordinate management of client, opportunity, and sales information.
  • Assist sales team members with the development and maintenance of account plans.
  • Coordinate internal business development resources across domestic office locations.
  • Coordinate external business development resources as directed.
  • Summarize performance metrics prepared and provided by corporate support services.
  • Manage and complete administrative and organizational tasks. 

 

Requirements

Required skills, education and experience:

  • Possess a combination of education and/or experience necessary to achieve the Essential Duties described above.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Previous experience in company marketing.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, and Power Point.

Our client company in Victor, IA is looking for Press Operators. Press operators work independently to make, pack and ship good parts to our customer’s specifications. Operators need to work at a productive pace and communicate any issues with a supervisor or quality (QA) member. Operators will be asked to multi task and run more than one press at a time. Your attendance and work ethic are essential to a positive work environment. This is a temp to hire position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Operators work for 8-12 hours a day pending their dedicated schedule.
  • Operators are required to document production and record product daily.
  • Operators must be able to use tools of the trade, such as but not limited to: Knives, clippers, drills, pin gauges, and tape gun.
  • Operators work should be neat and tidy. Please write legibly as possible, tape and labels need to be straight and applied properly.

  • Operating machines, such as press brakes, roll formers and shears.  Welding including MIG & TIG *must be certified*        

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Prior machine operation (press brakes, roll formers, and sheers) and welding (MIG & TIG).  Experience with sheet metal, stainless and galvanized steel. 
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
