OVERVIEW

Temp Associates is currently seeking an Account Manager to join our Grinnell office! This position will work full-time with working hours of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.  Starting pay is $14/hr.

        JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Interview and screen potential applicants.

Conduct new hire orientations; ensure all paperwork follows state and federal guidelines.

Communicate closely with clients on job order requests; handle them quickly and efficiently.

Follow-up with employees on job performance, attendance, and safety concerns; able to discipline employees including warnings and termination of employment.

Prepare staffing reports.

Payroll duties including compensation of employees and monitoring pay increases.

QUALIFICATIONS

Excellent work ethic, outgoing personality, and strong attention to detail required

Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word & Excel

Prior recruiting and/or human resources experience preferred

Able to work independently and follow directions

High School Diploma/GED required; Associates and/or Bachelors degree preferred

Quality Control Speacialist

Overview:

             Our local Grinnell client company is looking for a temp to hire quality control specialist.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Check canister weights, visual, function, bow and complete form / enter into Infinity system to record checks. 

 

  • Check lid weights, visual, function, warp and complete form / enter into Infinity system to record checks. 

 

  • Check 1st piece and last piece samples from production entered into system and approve to start production.  Place stickers, on product for retains shelf.     

 

  • Place product on hold, complete necessary paperwork, and monitor rework of product.

 

  • Document quality issues in quality log book for communications between shifts.

 

  • Train shift personnel in defect recognition, defect definition, and defect classification.

 

  • Maintain product totes. Train shift personnel in proper use of product totes.

 

  • Monitor shift GMP compliance and review deficiencies with Shift Supervisor.

 

  • Assure adherence to plant procedures and review deficiencies with Shift Supervisor.

 

  • Other duties as assigned by Quality Manager and other plant supervision.

OVERVIEW

For those that like to organize, this warehouse opportunity deserves a look.   As a press operator/warehouse worker, working in a manufacturing facility in Victor you will be staging materials for the production team to ensure that operations run smoothly as well as running a press.  This is considered Temp-to-Hire position.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Stage required materials for the upcoming 24 hrs. based on a daily staging list
  • Transfer inventory from the returns to warehouse locations
  • Enter all finished goods inventory location transaction into the computer
  • Participate in physical inventories as directed by management
  • Perform general warehouse housekeeping, organization, and safety assurance
  • Other duties as may be assigned by management

 

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS                    

  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Mathematical, reading, and comprehension skills

JOB OVERVIEW:

Our client company in Victor, IA is looking for Press Operators. Press operators work independently to make, pack and ship good parts to our customer’s specifications. Operators need to work at a productive pace and communicate any issues with a supervisor or quality (QA) member. Operators will be asked to multi task and run more than one press at a time. Your attendance and work ethic are essential to a positive work environment. This is a temp to hire position.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Operators work for 8-12 hours a day pending their dedicated schedule.
  • Operators are required to document production and record product daily.
  • Operators must be able to use tools of the trade, such as but not limited to: Knives, clippers, drills, pin gauges, and tape gun.
  • Operators work should be neat and tidy. Please write legibly as possible, tape and labels need to be straight and applied properly.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Operators must be able to read, understand and follow written instructions, quality alerts and other required information.
  • Operators need to be prepared to stand for most, if not all, of their shift.
  • Operators need to be able to identify, record and dispose of rejected parts correctly.
  •  Attendance and being punctual is a must.
  • Drug screen and background check required

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
• High School Diploma/Equivalent
• Previous experience operating machines a plus but not required

 

WORK HOURS/SHIFT

*Dependant on shift, can choose from 8hr or 12hr shift*
