Client in the Grinnell area has a 2nd shift maintenance position open. The position will be maintaining, troubleshooting and repair equipment.
Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and good house keeping guidelines. Must follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirements. Must be able to identify and understand customer requirements. Maintain complete familiarity with production and support equipment. Perform project work as assigned. Responsible for completing all paper work such as work orders, parts usage sheets and misc. logs as required. Know all safety requirements for Lock Out.Tag Out, Hazard Com. STD. and equipment specific safety procedures. Complete other duties as assigned such as purchasing and keep an orderly maintenance shop. Maintain, troubleshoot and repair equipment, Maintain PM (Preventive Maintenance and PdM (Predictive Maintenance) programs. Assist in development of SOP's, PM, and PdM programs, Utilize CMMS (computerized maintenance management system)
Experience: combination of mechanical and electrical maintenance experience, minimum of 4 years.
Skills: Ability to read, comprehend and follow complex troubleshooting instructions and identify pasts from equipment maintenance manuals. Physically capable of moderate to heavy transferring of objects up to 100 pounds. Must have ability to perform electrical and mechanical troubleshooting on equipment. Ability to access areas above instructions. Possess a positive attitude and be able to work without supervision in a team environment. Ability to operate all plant production equipment. Ability to work with others and satisfy the customer requirements.
